Don Bivens and Trish Refo will tag team an entertaining presentation with stories about people and issues on the cutting edge of our profession.

Don Bivens is the recent Chair of the ABA’s Center for Innovation. He is a former Chair of the ABA Section of Litigation, former President of the State Bar of Arizona., and a member of the Scottsdale Bar Association through his firm Don Bivens, PLLC. Don is a graduate of Yale University and the University of Texas School of Law.

Trish Refo is the second Arizona lawyer in history to serve as President of the American Bar Association (the first being the Hon. Walter Craig). She is a former Chair of the ABA Section of Litigation. Trish is a partner at the Phoenix office of Snell & Wilmer where she is an equity partner in Commercial Litigation. Trish attended the University of Michigan for both undergrad and law school. With little prompting, she may break into “Hail to the Victors”

Warning: Trish and Don are married. So, this could be interesting. They share three children, two dogs, and a kitten name Lady Di.
