Arizona Women Lawyers Association promotes and encourages the success of women lawyers throughout Arizona by providing members with information and support, fostering connections among women lawyers, and monitoring and celebrating the successes of our members.

AWLA’s operations and statewide programs are administered by its Board of Directors, while local programs are overseen by the Steering Committees of its four regional chapters.

AWLA welcomes as members men and women who pay applicable dues and meet one of the following qualifications:

A member shall either (a) be licensed to practice law in any jurisdiction and not currently under suspension or disbarment; (b) be licensed by the Arizona Supreme Court as a Legal Paraprofessional and be a member in good standing of the State Bar of Arizona; (c) be a Justice of the Peace currently in good standing and sitting in any Arizona Justice Court; (d) be a Judge currently in good standing and sitting in any Tribal Court in Arizona; (e) be a Dean or faculty member of any law school located in Arizona; or (f) be a student in, or a graduate of, a JD program at an ABA accredited law school.
